Chili originates from night shadow plant capsicum and it contains the substance Capsaicin, which is the substance, that makes them strong. Piri Piri is widely known as a little chili, mostly no bigger than a pair of centimeters. Piri Piri is cultivated, among other things, in East Africa.
Piri Piri Chili is a nice strong chili. The strength of a chili is measured after a scale called Scovill, often
called SHU (Scoville Heat Units), and gives an indication of how strong the chilli is.
Apfel Chili can be used for example in Mexican dishes, stews, grill, fish, pasta, pizza and seafood.
The earliest archaeological evidence of the use of chili is from Peru and Mexico, where the chili can be
dated back to about 6,500 and 6,000 before our time bill. Chile first came to Europe with Columbus.
